LinkedIn group for members

Hello all,

What a great turnout tonight! It was great to see so many of you, and
I'm looking forward to the next event.

It struck me tonight that Meetup doesn't really facilitate any sort of
meaningful online social networking connection for the real life
professional connections we make at every one of our events. To that
end, I tinkered around with setting up a LinkedIn group, and ran it by
Mark. With his blessing, I'd like to give you an opportunity to use this
if you'd find it of value.

The permissions are set up a little tight right now to keep spammers who
have nothing to do with our group or region out, and it may be a work in
progress to find the sweet spot that makes the LinkedIn group valuable
and spamless at the same time.

It's in no way a replacement for Meetup, or the discussions here or
anything. That's still the mothership, the source of truth, the Holy of
Holies. This is just some thing put together by some guy, you know?
