Holiday Potluck - Ethnic Style

  • December 2, 2012 · 5:00 PM

Hi Everyone!

The holidays are quickly approaching and we are overdue for a potluck. Let's celebrate Triangle Ethnic Food Group style! The theme will be traditional holiday dishes from around the world. This will be a POTLUCK event to be held in my home in Cary. I will send my home address to all RSVPs closer to the date. Drinks will be provided but feel free to bring wine, beer etc. Please note in your RSVP what you will be bringing.

Newbies - this will be a great way to meet several of your organizers and older members so come on out, don't be shy. We'll have name tags and everything!

We look forward to seeing everyone there!!

I don't have a car because I cannot afford one right now. I live in West Raleigh near NCSU (near the intersection of Gorman St/Kaplan Dr). Could someone give me a ride? Please email me at [masked] if you can. Thank you so much! PS: If I cannot find a ride, then I will give my spot to someone on the waiting list.

I don't think it matters; most pot-lucks have 3 kinds of potato salad! I will be working on Sat. so don't have time for anything too involved. Otherwise I could bring a dessert.

  • John

I'm still debating what to bring, prob. A dessert of some kind

I'm so glad there was room for me! I'll bring a sweet & sour stuffed cabbage. I'll swap out the beef for ground lamb or turkey since many don't eat beef or pork.

If time allows I'll try to bake a cake too.
