We are partnering up with Triangle Testing & Automation, featuring our favorite cardigan wearer, Bucky Schwarz.  He is flying in from NYC to speak at NCDEVCON and has agreed to give us some time.  Doors will open at 6:30pm with pizza and beverages provided.

Please only register once for this meetup, either here or over on Triangle Testing & Automation.

Dan + Melissa

Jasmine is a testing framework for JavaScript based on Ruby's Rspec that makes writing tests for your code a pure joy.  I'll start by talking about how Jasmine works, how to make it work for you, and why it's so awesome with examples.  If there is enough interest and time, I'll then talk about how we develop, test and deploy at Etsy.

About the speaker:
Bucky Schwarz is a software engineer at Etsy in Brooklyn, NY.  He does a lot of front end work and writes a lot of automated tests.  In his off time, he enjoys video games, the internet, wake-boarding and watching the train wreck that is humans interacting in New York City.

Thanks everyone for coming out! We'd also like to extend an invite to TriangleJS any time for the use of our space. Bronto will happily provide food and beverages.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
