Hey everyone,

Just joined the group a few days ago, but I wanted to introduce myself before I randomly show up to Tir na Nog at 12:30. I'm Nate Hunzaker and a front-end developer working in Durham. I didn't know if there was an active head count for the meet up at Tir na Nog, but I plan to be there. See you in a bit!

Hey everyone,

I was thinking about heading to Raleigh sometime in the afternoon on 9/8 and working remotely from somewhere to miss rush hour traffic before the Crockford presentation.  Is anyone interested in meeting up on/near campus sometime in the afternoon?

Hey everyone,

I just saw a post from Douglas Crockford that he will be speaking at NCSU September 8 as part of Fidelity Investments "Leadership in Technology" Executive Speaker Series.  He will be presenting "Programming Style and Your Brain," a talk which will use JavaScript to demonstrate how people, who aren't so good at perfection, can more effectively make computer programs.  The talk is schedule for 6 PM on 9/8 in room 1231 of Engineering Building 2 and is free and open to the public.  More information is available at:
