I am a technical writer originally from CT. After having lived in Germany for the past 10 years, I moved to the Raleigh area in Dec. 2012. I love writing and playing music, cooking, spending time with family, making new contacts and exchanging ideas.
I speak English and German fluently. I also speak/understand the following languages to varying degrees of mediocrity: Polish, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Dutch, Danish, French. I would love to learn more about any Semitic languages, ASL, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Icelandic, Hindi, Kiswahili...come to think of it, I would like to learn more about any language!
Too many to list here. Let's investigate and find the answers together!
Hi, Peter. Thanks for welcoming me to the group. I look forward to my first meetup with the Triangle Language Group. Hopefully, soon!
Thank you Peter! I do hope that I can make it to the next meetup. I am really looking forward to it.
thank you for your kind words. Well i will help you and help anyone who want to know anything about Arabic language. I taught Arabic here in the triangle for some individual before. There are around 7 sounds in Arabic that do not exist in English and vise versa there are 2 English sounds that do not exist in Arabic. We will see all that when we meet. thanks
