Come join us for dinner, drinks and discussion. Doug Hammack will be presenting the fascinating theory of Spiral Dynamics as put forth in the book of the same name by Don Beck and Chris Cowan.

In our divided society, we often think our divisions run along political, social, religious, or economic lines. It is possible that there are factors at work in our divisions that run even deeper than these. It is possible that we simply see the world through different developmental lenses. That’s the message of Spiral Dynamics, a developmental construct that explains how cultures and societies develop through distinct “memes,” or ways of seeing the world. Doug contends that our ability to successfully coexist as a society can be enhanced by understanding and appreciating the benefits and weaknesses of three particular stages of societal development.

We suggest a donation of $1 per person to cover Meetup fees that can be dropped in the jar at the door.
