Loss Aversion and the Optimism Bias

 

Let's get together to watch and discuss two great TED talks over dinner and drinks!

Tali Sharot, author of The Optimism Bias: A Tour of the Irrationally Positive Brain shares why we believe the future will be better than the past or present.  Laurie Santos sheds light on the origins of loss aversion by setting up a monkey economy.  This should fuel a great discussion so I hope you can join us.
