I am a professional photographer who has been teaching photography for many years. I teach popular photography classes through Duke's Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, UNC Hospital, Carrboro ArtsCenter, Artspace, and other venues. I also tutor.
I am happy to offer some of my introductory, advanced, off-camera lighting, manual photography workshop, and workflow classes
Thanks for the welcome to Chapel Hill. I was a presenter at a couple of Tom Regan's "Compassionate Living Festival" weekends, many years ago. I've been meaning to get in touch with Tom since moving to the area. And I look forward to meeting you again and being part of the veg scene here in North Carolina, where I'll be serving as interim minister to the Community Church of Chapel Hill for the next year. Please keep me in your thoughts and rolodex!

I tried to apply, but I have to list a sponsoring photographer. How do I find someone that needs an assistant? Is that listed on the website? Sorry so many questions. And sure I could send you a few baby images, what is the best way to do that, via email? Thanks.
Okay, thanks. I am not per say "professional" but I just do it for fun. I work with kids with special needs so this would be wonderful. I saw on the website about a photographer assistant...would I be more likely to get that instead?
Hello! Thanks for the message, I am def. interested in "Now I lay me down to sleep" program. Please let me know more about it or who to contact regarding getting involved with that. Thanks! :)
Welcome, Dilip. Very nice to see you here. I hope to see you and your family soon! Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.
Hi Dilip, thanks for joining! hope to meet you and your son/daughter soon :)
Hi Dilip! Thank you for welcoming me to the group. I look forward to meeting your family. A play date sounds fun!
Welcome to the Triangle Photography Club, Dilip!
Hey Dilip, thanks for the message! We love Ozu films too (though I'm in no way a "buff" on them)! Currently struggling with choices of movies/videos for the kid (he loves Elmo, Dora, anything that's specifically targeted to his age group, but we find them bland and a little alarming in their pervasiveness). Have any suggestions?
