Sketch at NC Museum of Natural Science

Let's gather at the entrance to the museum gift shop and we can fan out to sketch from there. No admission fee for the museum but there may be fees for parking. http://naturalsciences.org/

Maja - I'm sorry I missed you :( I waited at the entrance to the gift shop until about 3:15. And it was very crowded and busy but a super cool place to sketch. I'll plan this one again (just not on Reptile and Amphibian Day and the day of the St. Patrick's Day parade).

I had fun, just sorry I missed other sketchers. This would be good another time. See you at the North Carolina Botanical Gardens on April 6th?

Very nice staff, and more interesting things to draw than there is time in a lifetime. LOVED it. Wayyyyy busy, but still a very cool, fun experience.

I was there but was late finding parking. Too crowded to find anyone. Looked for sketchers around 3:00 again, but didn't see anybody.

I had fun, although a few less people would have been nice :)

G'day all! Below is info rec'd from my contact at the museum regarding parking for Saturday...
"Parking is typically not an issue on the weekends as you can park in any lot (even ones that are reserved spaces) for free. It might be a bit busier this Saturday as it is Reptile and Amphibian Day, but that will mean that there are more options for sketches! I would recommend parking in the deck on the corner of Edenton and McDowell Streets. From there, the South entrance to the NRC (Nature Research Center) is a short walk." AND please remember... bring your own camp chair/stool. They said particularly with the Reptile & Amphibian Day - chairs will be in short supply.

YAY, and can't wait for Saturday!!
