FYI: Vegan Potluck with Nava Atlas

*This is not an official Meetup event; just information regarding an event that TVSC members might be interested in attending.

Join the Triangle Vegetarian Society for a potluck and a presentation by Nava Atlas, who will be visiting us from New York. Nava, author of twelve vegetarian and vegan cookbooks, most recently Vegan Holiday Kitchen and Wild About Greens, will discuss easy options for the spring holidays and tips for anticipating another great season of leafy greens. She will share tips to help you prepare tasty vegan food, even if your time in the kitchen is limited. (Click HERE for more information regarding this and other TVS events!)

Please note that there is road work underway immediately south of Etta Burke Court. To reach Kadampa Center, you will need to come via Hillsborough Street. See map/directions.

This was great. I hope we can get more cookbook authors to speak to us.

Thanks to all the respondents offering to help with books! I think we're set now; I'm in touch with one person who will help. See you at the event!

Can anybody help transport books that Nava has sent to me? They're at my home in SW Durham. I am picking Nava up in the early afternoon and going food shopping; there won't be enough space to carry her luggage, shopping, and the books.

We can have more than a dozen folks, so feel free to open up more slots. I look forward to seeing you all at the event!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
