If you are single and enjoy dining out and getting to know new people while relaxing over a meal, then Singles Dinner Club is the social event for you! This activity with the Triangle 20s/30s Singles give you opportunities to meet each other in a relaxed high caliber setting while enjoying fun conversation and dining in the many wonderful restaurants in and around Raleigh.

Our November Resturant Selection:
Abbey Road Tavern and Grill

If you don't recognize the name of this Cary neighborhood bar and grill, you'll definitely be able to put 2 & 2 together after you walk through the door. Abbey Road pays tribute to The Beatles. Walls adorned with band memorabilia stand out in the dark tavern atmosphere and give newcomers something to talk about. However, the majority of patrons are regulars who enjoy the comfort of a familiar place. Newbies are warned to come with a big appetite, but they don't need to worry about breaking the bank.

Forms of payment: Mastercard, Visa, American Express & Cash. Sorry no Checks accepted

Dress Code: Casual

Price Range: $$ $1-$20

Please feel free to contact me with any questions! I look forward to seeing you for our Dinner Club!

We strive for even numbers of men and women for engaging conversation, dinner, and the chance to increase your circle of friends. In order for this event to be successful, we will not accept any no-shows (see policy below please). This is a strict policy.

To be fair to all members who wish to attend this “special” event, there will not be a “maybe” RSVP option. Please only RSVP “yes” if you are certain you can commit to attend dinner at this time. When the event is full, a waiting list will start and individuals will be changed up to “yes” accordingly.

DISCLAIMER: IF YOU HAVE ATTENDED THE PREVIOUS DINNER CLUB, PLEASE LET OTHERS IN OUR GROUP PARTICIPATE IN THIS EVENT.

No-Show Policy
Hosts work hard to ensure successful events and no-shows can be embarrassing for them (reservations that go unused, for example), and it discourages members from hosting future events. And since our events are so geared to pair up an equal number of women and men and fill up quickly, your RSVP held a space another member could have used and prevented them from attending.

Who classifies as a No-Show? Someone who RSVP's Yes to an event and:
a) does not show up
b) changes his/her RSVP to "No" within 4 hours before the start of the event.

We recognize that emergencies do happen, and sometimes members have to skip out at the last minute (they get a flat tire or have an accident on the way, for example), but if that happens, you still need to email or phone the Event Host ASAP and let them know why you're not coming (or, if you absolutely can't do it before the event, why you didn't come).

If you don't show up, don't update your RSVP and don't contact the host with a valid emergency reason why you failed to attend, you will be considered a No-Show and removed from the group.

Are you game?!

Let’s celebrate Halloween with a spooktacular time…. No scaredy cats allowed at this game night—horrible Halloween puns, however, are strongly encouraged!!!

Let's eat good food, drink, socialize, laugh and meet new friends all while playing games. Bring your favorite games (I am providing scattergories, pictionary, taboo and tribond) for a night of fun! Bring $20.00 if you are interested in playing Texas Hold’em Poker.

Please bring a hearty side dish (meaning no cookies and chips). The idea here is to make this a savory appetizer, snacky meal (cheeses & crackers, deli meats, olives, appetizers, quiche, mini pizza's etc. ).

"You don't stop playing because you get old, you get old because you stop playing."

Please bring your beverage of choice (soda? wine? beer? etc) and a food of some sor t(a dish of your choice to share) please indicate what you are bringing so we all can plan accordingly).

**I will send out Shelly’s address for this event to only those “yes” participants the day prior to the event.
FYI: Shelly's dog, Sadie, will be hosting as well.

Halloween Hike! 5.5 miles to work off the candy!

Meet at the restrooms.

This trail is rated moderate and has a lot of tree roots and it's rocky in places, so sturdy shoes or hiking boots are recommended! This trail has a lot of up and down all the way through and we are going to try to keep it moderate paced uphill (about 3-4 mph) and recover on the downward slopes.

We'll go down to the trail for about 15 minutes, then do the loop. We should be done around 7pm.

This is a great workout, come join us!

Get scared with the Singles group. Did you watch "Children of the Corn" in the 80's? Maybe it was "The Shinning" before that. Have an abnormal fear of corn stalks and mazes? Well, time to get over that fear and have some fun at Ken's Korny Corn Maze.

Ken's Korny Corn Maze, started in 2000, and has amazed and amused visitors since it's first day open. The maze is worked out as early as February where put on paper their ideas to turn five acres of a cornfield into two miles of twists and turns. The average time to maneuver the maze take 60-75 minutes.

The objective is to find each of the twelve mail-boxes, each of which has a stamp to apply to the game card. Each participant punches a game clock when he enters and the object is to complete the maze, gathering stamps from eac h of the twelve mailboxes in the shortest possible time.

We are going on one of the Haunted Harvest Nights. So, it supposed to be extra scary.
We may do both the maze and the haunted trail.
