Are you game?! Let’s celebrate Halloween with a spooktacular time…. No scaredy cats allowed at this game night—horrible Halloween puns, however, are strongly encouraged!!! Let's eat good food, drink, socialize, laugh and meet new friends all while playing games. Bring your favorite games (I am providing scattergories, pictionary, taboo and tribond) for a night of fun! Bring $20.00 if you are interested in playing Texas Hold’em Poker. Please bring a hearty side dish (meaning no cookies and chips). The idea here is to make this a savory appetizer, snacky meal (cheeses & crackers, deli meats, olives, appetizers, quiche, mini pizza's etc. ). "You don't stop playing because you get old, you get old because you stop playing." Please bring your beverage of choice (soda? wine? beer? etc) and a food of some sor t(a dish of your choice to share) please indicate what you are bringing so we all can plan accordingly). **I will send out Shelly’s address for this event to only those “yes” participants the day prior to the event. Halloween Hike! 5.5 miles to work off the candy! Meet at the restrooms. This trail is rated moderate and has a lot of tree roots and it's rocky in places, so sturdy shoes or hiking boots are recommended! This trail has a lot of up and down all the way through and we are going to try to keep it moderate paced uphill (about 3-4 mph) and recover on the downward slopes. We'll go down to the trail for about 15 minutes, then do the loop. We should be done around 7pm. This is a great workout, come join us! |

Get scared with the Singles group. Did you watch "Children of the Corn" in the 80's? Maybe it was "The Shinning" before that. Have an abnormal fear of corn stalks and mazes? Well, time to get over that fear and have some fun at Ken's Korny Corn Maze. Ken's Korny Corn Maze, started in 2000, and has amazed and amused visitors since it's first day open. The maze is worked out as early as February where put on paper their ideas to turn five acres of a cornfield into two miles of twists and turns. The average time to maneuver the maze take 60-75 minutes. The objective is to find each of the twelve mail-boxes, each of which has a stamp to apply to the game card. Each participant punches a game clock when he enters and the object is to complete the maze, gathering stamps from eac h of the twelve mailboxes in the shortest possible time. We are going on one of the Haunted Harvest Nights. So, it supposed to be extra scary. GROUPS OF 6 GO THROUGH THE MAZE PRICE IS $17 BRING A FLASHLIGHT! Age Range : 20s/30s For more information, see http://www.kensprodu Cost: $17.00 |
