I am currently working on another trip to China with current and former photo students from Randolph Community College, but I'm having trouble filling the last slot on the trip. I thought the trip was full (10 travelers) until a student unexpectedly pulled out last week. Therefore, I'm now opening the opportunity to anyone who is interested to venture with us this winter. Even if you're not a photographer, it will be a great chance to see China as part of an organized tour. My students range in age from 18-60, so there will certainly be someone of any age range if you are concerned about the make-up of the group.
Here's the plan:
-10 Day Trip to Hong Kong and Mainland China, Dec 12-22, 2010.
-Fly from RDU to Hong Kong and from Beijing back to RDU.
-Cities to visit include Hong Kong, Guilin, Nanjing, and Beijing with a visit to the Great Wall.
-Total cost including airfare, hotels, and meals $2000.
*You must have valid passport
*Visa fee (around $[masked]) is not included in trip expense. I will be going to NY next week if you would like me to get the visa for you.
Travelers will visit both urban and rural areas for photographic opportunities and networking with Chinese students and professors at Universities in Guilin and Nanjing. We will also plan for tourism opportunities for visiting historic sites, shopping, etc.
Please contact me before Nov 1 if you are interested to join. I only have 1 spot on trip.. first come first served.
