Welcome everybody to the Triangle Surf Junkies 2012, Summer season is just starting...
It's time to go out have fun on our beautiful beaches North Carolina has to offer. I know all of you are probably busy just as I am. This year I want to make it different for all you beach lovers and invite you to participate more in our surfing activities. Whether you call yourself "Rick Kane", "Turtle", pro, kook, grommet, or that cool surfer dude or chick, we are all in this to share the beautiful ocean together. Although the waves here are not the world class quality, North Carolina is one of the states that we can enjoy the surf almost all year round with powerful waves occasionally.

Last month, this group was almost shutdown because nobody wanted to step up to take charge when the previous organizer stepped down. I felt the responsibility of saving this group and wanted to make surfing to be part of the North Carolina culture and most importantly, your culture. For most of us, surfing is a way of life that we are all here together as a group to seek for the Endless Summer. This group is all about sharing surf trips, car pooling, and getting together for beers when we feel landlocked.

With that said, I want to ask all of you to be part of the surf culture and help participating in this group by making a small financial support to fund our organizer dues and other future activities. Moreover, jump in and be proactive and enjoy our meetup events. Starting next month, I will setup $1 membership fee for any dues or group's beer money :) Any suggestion on organizing the surf events are welcome.
