This week will be our monthly dinner outing after class. This month we'll head over to the Refectory Cafe. Join us for yoga, dinner, or both. All are welcome!
Yin Yoga is a Taoist form of yoga that focuses on stretching the connective tissue of the body to promote better range of motion while also stimulating the flow of energy through the meridians; similar to Acupuncture. Yin poses are mostly floor poses that work to stretch the lower body. Poses are held for several minutes to give the connective tissue the needed time to stretch and release. Mindfulness meditation techniques and focused breathing are incorporated into the class. Great class for athletes!
**Effective 10/1/13 - Cost is $7 per class or 4 classes for $25 when paid for in advance. You can pay in advance via PayPal on Lisa's website.**
Feel free to come to your first class for free to check it out.
You'll need to bring your own mat and wear stretchy clothes you can move easily in. Some folks find the room to be a little cool at times so dress in layers and bring a blanket for shavasana if you have one.
