Springs Splash

Springs Splash- for those that like to get wet! Cost: $ 6 for the evening (pay at the front office) This meetup is designed to give competitive swimmers, triathletes, and aquathetes a varied workout every week with a stroke clinic. There will be four workouts available depending on your mood or ability and most workouts can be completed even with a minor lower body injury. There will be a sprint, moderate, long distance, and shark lane workout. Each workout will be approximately between a mile and 3 miles long and those who need a break may simply hang on the wall or get out in order to skip sets. You may also join other workouts at any time. There will be a lifeguard on duty but you should not attend if you cannot complete two (25m or yrd.) laps of the pool comfortably. In addition, I will run a stroke clinic during the first 15 minutes of practice for anyone seeking to improve their form. Equipment needed: Swim cap Goggles Swimsuit, tri suit, or tri shorts (please pick something fitted as pushing off the walls tends to shift suits) Drag suit (a loose suit worn over your suit to make it harder to swim- advanced only) Kickboard and pull buoy (not necessary but helpful for drills) I hope to see you all there! =) Contact Jessica S. with any questions [masked])
