Wow that is bad that they ran out of medals. Usually when an event runs out of medals they usually mail them to the participants. This year of all years those medals were definitely earned. Mandi, I see from your blog post that you had some fun. I also got stung by jellyfish. I didn't see you at the start. Kathy, Belen, Ron, did you go?

Ron, Mandi Kathy, I'm glad to head you had fun. I'll see if maybe I can set up some brunch right there on the beach next time or something. I had to run to my car to avoid getting a parking ticket lol. I was able to grab two slices of the free pizza though. Any food after that swim was VERY welcome ha ha

Yes I was i there and participated and finished. I got the key chain instead of the finishers medal. But I complained. They took my name and address. I hope they will follow through a and send me a real finishers metal.

The 2014 Fort Lauderdale rough water swim definitely earned its name today! With huge washing machine waves and tons of fun to swim it! They should change the symbol on the medal from a shark fin to a jellyfish. A couple of them got intimate with me today lol! It was great to see some of you out there and catch up. I would've stayed longer to chat but I just beat the meter maid by four minutes.

no that is not correct. The individual price is still the same but to register a team is an additional $10 charge.. If you all still want to register as a team and we would receive a framed certificate then that is essentially what it is for. I'm guessing a team races against other teams.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
