I did not realize it but I have been in aquaponics for several years. The fish I raise are koi and the plants I raise are white water lilies. Have not tried to eat any of them. I saw someones comment about barley straw which is supposed to stop blooming algea that makes the ponds green. I have made filters that takes care of the green water made by the algea if anyone is interested. I have a lot to learn about what vegetables to grow and when to grow them but I have the fish and am pumping the water.
