My fellow Atheist friends. We are surrounded by religious jerks that take every opportunity to impose their values on us. Yet when we speak out about it, we are the intolerant ones. The Center for Arizona Policy brags, literally brags about how many laws they've been able to push through the Arizona legislature that are consistent with their Christian values. "Since 1995, 114 Center for Arizona Policy-supported bills have been signed into law. 51 in the last four years alone!" That is a direct quote from their website. It's time to quit tip-toeing around the situation. The next time someone tells you that you're just being intolerant because you object to a Christmas Creche on government property tell them that you're exercising you're right to free speech.

Look forward to a good conversation. I'm going to cover the normal agenda and during the presentation, I'm going to go over a few things about the religious majority that really get under my skin. I'm going to review the three main versions of the "Ten Commandments" that the religious nutters seem to think will cure our school shooting problems.

Look for good conversations and good energy.

Judy - Thank you for that wonderful reference showing the differences in toleration and tolerance along with the many definitions vis-a-vis time and culture. It perfectly rounds off the discussion with solid information from many points of view.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
