Tucson Atheists Monthly Meetup

  • August 20, 2012 · 7:00 PM

Faith motivates the religious. it is said that faith can move mountains.

Let's talk about faith. What does faith mean to you? Are you good without faith? Ever wish you hadn't lost yours? Come to meeting and let's discuss faith.

We'll also have the normal agenda including Atheist news, Atheist quote, Atheist cartoon, plenty of discussion and perhaps something humorous.

This is a recurring meeting. The group meets on the third Monday of the month at the Denny's on Speedway. The meeting officially begins at 7PM but many people choose to meet earlier to socialize before the meeting. I start setting up equipment around 6 and enjoy the company while I get the equipment ready for the meeting.

We survived a last minute change to an unfamiliar location. It was a good meeting in spite of the challenges.

The meeting location has been changed due to the fact that the Denny's on Speedway is undergoing renovation.

The new meeting place is at Denny's on 22nd and Alvernon.

We'll see how effective the group is at "nailing jello to the wall."

Faith. Another slimy, squirmy, wriggly, shape-shifting, nebulous linguistic monster. I'm not sure I'm up for that much heavy lifting on a Monday.
