I was fairly non-religious until fifth grade, when I was pushed semi-willingly into a 'good news club.' After a couple years as a little zealot, I spoke with a friend of mine in middle school, who was Jewish, about religion and started questioning the Bible for the first time. I was pretty moderate for a while, until moving to Saudi Arabia three years ago. Being exposed to - and living in - an actual theocracy radicalized me to a fair extent. I ended up helping to administrate a facebook page called "Atheist Memes" for almost two years until it was shut down by facebook for no apparent reason.
A fat college student, staring down a major in history because he's not smart enough for a STEM major.
