carl,
i encourage you to sign up...i also am a snowbird member of tucson atheists, 
but the internet makes that irrelevant...by the way, i agree with the 
assessment about closet atheists...i told all my high school classmates that 
i'm an atheist and, of course, this was met with horror and revulsion, which 
is what i expected...but so what?...screw them...their belief in the 
supernatural is their problem, not mine.
