Last Minute Desert Museum Photowalk

  • Mar 23, 2013 · 7:00 AM
  • This location is shown only to members

It's been a while since we've done a Desert Museum photowalk, so if you want to wander around the museum with some fellow photographers, capture the animals when they are most active, and see the Raptor Free-flight, then please join us.  Afterwards we'll meet at the coffee shop and have a chance to sit and compare photos from the morning.

Only cost is admission to the museum ($14.50, unless you're a member).

BTW - if you haven't shot anything "close-up" for this month's challenge, this is a good opportunity to find something.

*The truly adventurous may head out after this and see about capturing some wildflowers in the surrounding deserts.  I was out last weekend and things hadn't really started to bloom in Tucson Mountain park.

Thanks again, Robert, for putting together this field trip. The location was terrific, and it was so nice to get better acquainted with fellow Meetup members. Looking forward to seeing everyone's images!

Robert, thanks again for setting up the Desert Museum shoot!! I had a fabulous time and was so excited to finally be with you all again. I haven't had a chance to work on my photos. Hope I got some good enough ones to post. I know Robert did with his Canon 5D Mark 5000. I am sure Nat Geo is loving your images, too. LOL ;-) Seriously, thanks for being a good sport & the great fun Robert.

Robert, Thanks, it was a very nice shoot, good turn out, great place and weather, now how about posting some photos? I plan on putting a few up tomorrow, I still need to do a few hundred more "deletes" and a few hours on Post processing. I am just sorry I got called away for some family stuff after only two hours. Thank You very much, Robert. I had a very enjoyable time and was glad to see those who made it. The weather could not have cooperated any more than it did. How did you arrange that one??? Camera WIFI connections to the weather bureau??
