Guess I'd better sign up if I want to attend Rosemary's Desert Museum shoot. :)
Landscape, plants, bugs, bridges, etc., any excuse for a short road trip! Favorite subject is lightning; to take a good landscape image that includes an aesthetic bolt of lightning is difficult to pull off but greatly rewarding when successful.
Still shooting film for the most part. Recently purchased a Bronica 6x6 kit; trying to wrap my head around the square format. I also shoot a Graphic View 4x5, Canon FD (T-90 rulez!), a Drebel XT with old OM glass, and a digital P/S.
Am reasonably familiar with operating a Drebel XT (350D) and would be happy to show folks what I know.
EAT NOW! (The East Coast Subs' curly fries are to die for!)
What is your profile picture? It's adorable!
Thanks! It's fun for friends to see this photograph - they can't believe this is how one enters Lower Antelope Canyon!
Welcome to the group :)
Hey Greg, is your bike the 750cc turbo? If so that bike was the beast in my day, lucky you. Welcome to the group.
Welcome to the site Gregg. I'm looking forward to seeing this bike in person.
"Howdy .. I just started a new SoCal Canyoneering Meetup Group.
The purpose of this Meetup Group is to connect people in Southern California (and the Southwest) for this adventure sport and to provide education and experiential opportunities in a safe and fun way.
Please check it out and consider joining!
