Thank you to all who came to the meeting last night. Some excellent information was exchanged. The questions were great and showed the level of our commitment. Looking forward to next month's meeting!

Just came to me as we talk about home security, the hot topic of the week has been computer safety of files (personal information) and emails, just food for thought.

Hi, everyone! The topic of this meetup will be home security. Between now and the meeting, take some time to jot down a few ideas on how you could make your bug-in location more invasion-resistant. We'll break our discussion into three sections: urban security, suburban security, and rural security. For urban, think dense population and very close quarters, possibly even a common wall between you and your neighbor, and the necessity of traversing a hallway to get outdoors. Also, think about living on a major traffic thoroughfare.

For suburban, think single family homes with neighbors reasonably close by and 1/2 to 1 acre lots. Also, think about living in a neighborhood where there are only one or two streets that allow entry/escape to the major thoroughfares.

For rural, think isolated property with neighbors possibly 1/2 to 1 mile or more distant, and limited communication. Also think about long distances required to reach major thoroughfares.

    See you on the 27th!
