The MeetUP HQ's have not been open to listening to its customers--those of us who pay around $250/year to be connected to its website.  

When MU HQ's made major drastic changes to become more user-UNfriendly, thousands of us have opted for other alternative web hosts.   Most have moved to GroupSpaces because of its very helpful user support, and its willingness to listen to its customers!

This change will be made during May, and each member will get several notices, with an easy link to switch-over.

This group is a "Work In Progress", and I invite each of you to provide feedback and suggestions as to how we can make this local Tucson area singles group as successful as possible for everyone's benefit!  Every effort will be made to make membership FREE, or requests to just cover the direct MeetUP website and promotional/printing expenses.

 This MeetUP group is  for Singles, Couples, Triples...you name it!--in the general age range of 35-65  (although, we do have members probably past both ends of that range?)--who are serious about meeting a potential partner in a social setting.  

We are a fun, safe alternative to On-line Internet meeting.  You may find some of the member's profiles look familiar, now here's a chance to actually see how those individuals interact with others--Live, In-Person--rather than "taking one's word for it"!

We attempt to rotate geographically, the venues as much as possible--understanding that most of the best music/dancing locations are located on the near east side of Tucson. 

Whenever possible, we try to find locations that are less of a "bar or honky tonk", and various outdoor events, whenever possible.   Drinking alcoholic beverages is not a requirement.  Every effort is made to find  outdoors places/patios that do not have smoking.  Use of illicit drugs, violent behavior, at any group event is totally prohibited.

Activities are geared towards spending time with potential matches making it easier for our members to identify those they may be interested in getting to know, in a fun, safe, supportive environment. 

We will attempt to get group benefits and discounts, as a result of our group's purchasing power (ie: free appetizers, admittance discounts, etc.) to make membership that much more worthwhile!

Unlike other social groups we are not JUST about hanging out.   

Our members are open to dating and possibly more.  Members are encouraged to bring along some friends, co-workers, etc. to "Expand the Pool" of Available Singles, that helps benefit everyone!

It's easy to become a member, and its totally FREE!

Just "put you best image forward" by:

1.  Upload a Clear, Uncluttered, Closer-up, RECOGNIZABLE Main Profile Photo.  Organizers and Event Hosts use the small thumbnail photos to watch for those looking for us at crowded event venues, so help us be able to spot you...and for others who may be interested in making contact with you, and arranging to meet at one of our upcoming events.

2.  Complete your Profile Introduction, with your First and Last Name (or at least the First Initial of your Last Name).

3.  Complete the Membership Questionairre, so that we can all learn more about you.
