Leather 101

**DATE CHANGE**

From David Grasse (host): "Okay. I dislike doing this, but we are going to have to change the date and move the workshop back one week to April 27th as I have another matter that I must attend to. I apologise for not giving everyone more notice, but this just came up yesterday. Hopefully, the change of date will allow a number of people who were unable to attend before to make t to the class. Again, I am sorry for the inconvenience."

=================================

David Grasse with the assistance of Paul Martell will be teaching you the basics of working with leather to build your own props. During the class, you will make your own holster to take home with you.

There is no fee for the class but you will need to buy your leather and materials for the workshop. Those materials can be purchased at Tandy on the day of the class. Tools will be on loan from Tandy but you are welcome to bring your own tools if you have some experience with leather working. Please contact David with questions about the materials.

***SPACE IS LIMITED***There is only room for a maximum 10 people. Please make certain that you are signed up as soon as possible if you wish to attend.

This workshop will be hosted at the Tandy Leather store across from Park Place Mall.

6061 E Broadway Blvd #118

      Both David and Tandy will have some tools available to use during the workshop. As for the cost of tools and leather for personal purchase, I honestly have no idea. Maybe Tandy's website can be checked for an idea. As far as I know, there is no issue with people bringing in their own items, so you may want to consider looking at other shops.

    There has been a date change! It will now be one week later on Sat. 27th instead of the 20th. If you have already RSVP'd, please let us know if this date still works for you.

    Limited to 10 people, 4 are attending, event is full. Is everyone bringing a guest or two?

    I would like to also bring a guest, if possible.

      I believe the event is completely full between sign ups hete and on Facebook.

      Bob, Amara is correct. We always list our events on both Facebook and Meetup.com. As we get sign ups on both sites, we fill up those spaces and list them as full between both event pages. Because of the interface on meetup.com, we have to list the event with a number of slots that we then manually close out as they get filled on Facebook.
