Pinnacle Peak Dinner @ Trail Dust Town

Date: Saturday, Sept. 21st, 2013

4 PM arrival to storm the train and mingle
5 PM dinner
8 PM group picture
9 PM last gun fight show

Limit: 80 people

Deadline: Evening of Thursday, Sept. 19th. I need to let them know a final number 24 hours in advance.

As always, it is optional, but we hope to see all the fancies and frillies out for this one! Especially since we are planning a group photo after the dinner.

There is ONE thing everyone should considering bringing: A bad/tacky tie! Those of you who have been to Pinnacle Peak before, then you know why. If you have no idea what this is about, bring one anyway and find out!

Pricing & Activities:
Buy your own dinner ($8-$18/person), train ride tickets ($2/person), and gun fight show tickets ($2/person). The group photo is free to anyone who wants to use their own camera. There is a professional Wild West/Victorian themed photo booth on site that can handle up to 12 people at at time with various packages and price ranges. Aside from the train and gun fight show, there is a mini amusement park area with other rides including a carousel. There are also various kinds of shops from chocolate and ice cream to souvenirs and clothing.

Pinnacle Peak is a 'cowboy' style steak house. They serve lots of meat, beans, and bread, and other such sides. They do have a couple of salads, but not much more in the way of 'healthier' foods. Please keep that in mind when attending. You can view the menu at their website (, and you can call them [masked]) if you want to discuss alternative options with them. Just let them know you are with the "Tucson Steampunk Society" reservation.

It was my 2nd time. Looking forward to #3 next time. Dress up us fun enough, but dress up with friends is the best.

A family emergency has come up, and I won't be able to attend. I was so looking forward to it :-(

That's a bummer. We hop to see you at another event. Our next "big" one is the Dickens Tea on Dec. 14th!

I am new here, so I don't know anyone yet (well except for the one gal I talked to briefly at the Ball in Tombstone) . I am really looking forward to this Saturday and getting to meet everyone.

Yes to the train, that was fun. Yes to the photo, yes to the gun fight...probably not the tie.

Wow! We are now at 82 RSVPs total! The dinner is one week away now. Who is ready? Who wants to be in the group photo (free, don't need to be costumed)? Who is going to storm the train and carousel? Who wants to see the gun fight show? Who is going to devour a steak the size of their head?

And, most importantly, who is going to wear a horrendously terrible eye melting tie?

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
