As far as "clubs" go in Tucson, there are a few places that play EDM music. Some stick with the commerical format while others are lean towards the cutting edge of newer avant garde dance music. The venues that I know that play EDM are:

  • Playground (Bar/Lounge/Outdoor Dancefloor)
  • JunXion (Bar/Dance Club)
  • Club Congress
  • Sapphire
  • IBT's
  • Zen Rock (possibly?)
  • V Thai (restaurant/bar)

Those are the few that I can think of. My personal favorite is Playground, especially when the temperature is right on the upstairs deck. I'm no regular of any of these, so I don't know their current formats, yet pop in and see what's bangin' out of the their speakers!

Gustav you left out the best thing in town right now for underground EDM, After Dark at Delectables. Not a club per se, but a solid weekly scene for house and other EDM flavors. I went for the first time in a few months this Friday and it was hoppin!

Yep, you're right. I left it out because it wasn't a club proper, but I give it it's due respects. It's the place to be Friday nights!
