In a Galaxy... far far away... a little planet by the name of "The Iceman" raised it's hand and said "what about me, I am based on a real story and I have a 67% on rotten tomatoes... that is better than most other movies playing these days!"
The big planets stared at The Iceman and chuckled... "but you are not big and loud and sic-fi'y like the rest of us, so we will ignore you little planet".
"But, but, I have academy award nominee Michael Shannon, and I also have Winona Ryder, damn she's hot"
The big summer blockbuster planets kept ignoring The Iceman. "What good are you" they laughed, "on your shores there is no need to suspend disbelief, and there are no robots or air-headed damsels in distress" they chuckled as they orbited away.
Will anyone save The Iceman?
Out of the far reaches of the known and yet to be discovered universe... came... tantananan... The T.N.A.T.M. Team... with their fearless leader Samson∞ But the leader was busy saving the universe, so one of his court jesters, stepped up and asked The Iceman... "Hey, do you have popcorn and those yellow M&Ms on your planet kid?"
Iceman said "Corn popped have we yes"
"We're in, we will give you a chance little kid" The T.N.A.T.M. to the rescue of the underdog once again!!!!
OK, enough of me trying to ignore work...
Next Tuesday, let's watch THE ICEMAN
Here is what Cineplex says about the movie:
"The Iceman follows real-life hitman Richard Kuklinski (Michael Shannon) from his early days in the mob until his arrest in 1986. Appearing to be living the American dream with his beautiful wife, Deborah Pellicotti (Winona Ryder) and their children, in reality he is a killer-for-hire able to keep his "job" hidden from his family. When he is finally arrested by the feds in 1986, neither his wife and daughters nor their neighbors have any clue that he is a murderer. Why did he do it and how did he get away with it for so long?"
