Hi everyone! This Tuesday let's watch MUD, a new intriguing-sounding drama about two teenagers who come across a mysterious man (Matthew McConaughey) hiding on an island in the Mississippi River in the U.S. deep south, who is on the run while planning to run off with his true love (Reese Witherspoon). This movie has received great reviews, currently running an amazing 99% on rottentomatoes.com who describe it as "an engaging Southern drama that manages to stay sweet and heartwarming without being sappy." The Toronto Star writes that "it's more of a modern fairy tale, steeped in the sleepy Mississippi lore of Twain and similar American writers, and with a heart as big as the river is wide" with "strong performances by all, and a standout one by young Tye Sheridan". So, please come see it with us!
