A MOST WANTED MAN, at the Varsity, hosted by Jeff

Hi everyone!  I'm back from my European travels and ready for another movie!  This Tuesday let's watch A MOST WANTED MAN, a new mystery-thriller based on a John le Carre book.  It stars Philip Seymour Hoffman (filmed just before he died) as a German intelligence agent investigating a mysterious Chechen exile, and Canadian sweetheart Rachel McAdams as a sympathetic human rights lawyer.  The movie is running 90% on rottentomatoes.com.  So, please come see it with us!

SHOWTIME: 7:00pm on Tuesday August 5 at the Varsity Cinema.  (movie length = 2h01m)

MEETING LOCATION: At the Varsity Cinema, just past the ticket-takers, by the customer service desk.  Look for tall hairy Jeff with a yellow MEETUP sign.

TICKETS: This movie costs just $7.99 (or $7.19 with a Scene card); if you wish then you can purchase your ticket in advance at http://www.cineplex.com/Showtimes/any-movie/cineplex-odeon-varsity-and-vip-cinemas?Date=8/5/2014

MOVIE INFO AND REVIEWS: http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/a_most_wanted_man/

AFTER THE MOVIE: Let's all discuss the movie for a few minutes as a group right in the hallway directly opposite the film's screening room.  Then, interested persons may wish to go for drinks and socialising, probably at the Foxes Den bar at 1075 Bay Street.

I hope to see you there!

Best wishes, Jeff

P.S. For the following Tuesday (Aug 12), I'm thinking of GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY (currently running 92% on rottentomatoes.com); what do you think?

I loved this film. I don't have to wonder what John Le Carre thought of the CIA, but I would love to know how much of this film is based on his actual experience as an intelligence officer in MI5 and later in the foreign service with MI6.

This film clearly depicts the major difference in how Germany and America fighting the war on terror. How much distrust there is from the Germans toward their American counterpart.

Pre-purchased ticket, but might be late. If time arrives to go in, go in without me. See you there!

Guardians looks like a fine choice, but I promised it to my friend. If he was out though, I'd be hosting it if you did not.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
