The American Turkish Association of Washington DC and the Assembly of Turkish American Associations are pleased to present 'Ageless Turkey: Anatolia's Past and Present - A Lecture on the Archeological and Biblical Treasures of Turkey by Dr. Mark Fairchild, Professor & Chair, Department of Bible & Religion, Huntington University Huntington, IN

Speaker Bio: Mark Fairchild received his Ph.D. in New Testament Studies from Drew University with a concentration in Greco-Roman studies. He is currently professor and chair of the Department of Bible and Religion at Huntington University in Indiana. Professor Fairchild has received two National Endowment for the Humanities research grants dealing with early Islamic and Jewish studies. Dr. Fairchild has travelled extensively throughout Turkey, having visited over 170 ancient sites dating back to the Greek, Hellenistic and Roman periods. Dr. Fairchild has taken over 200,000 photographs of antiquities in Turkey and has had photographs published in six publications, including most recently, Oxford University Press and the Biblical Archaeological Review
