On Tuesday, December 11, 2012, the Brevard County Board of County Commissioners will consider passing a Fertilizer Ordinance. It's time to mobilize to make sure they adopt a strong ordinance that can protect the Indian river Lagoon from the slimy algae that has plagued us!
This topic will be heard at 1:30 pm--time certain. Let's fill the Commission Chamber on Tuesday, and make it clear that we want clean, slime-free water, and an ordinance that will see that we get that, by keeping Nitrogen and Phosphorus out of the Lagoon and the other waterways!
We will gather at a pavilion at Viera Regional Park, to have a pizza lunch, and then go on to the meeting at the Brevard County Commission Chambers, 2725 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, Bldg C, Viera, FL to fill up the good seats before this topic is heard.
