You're all invited for a Prosperity Tossing @ Monthly Potluck Meet & Eat!

Hi TCAS Members!

Please read, and respond… you’re also invited for a “Prosperity Tossing” this Sat, 7p

For new members, this is my 1st year hosting TCAS. Thanks to all the wonderful co-organizers for helping to host continued fun events as for the past year as I’ve been kept very busy rehabbing my new home & business property.

1.MONTHLY TCAS MEET & EAT - 4800 is now a ready monthly venue where all TCAS members and guests are welcome to hang out, watch a dvd, conduct training/preview/orientation, share passions of past and future adventures, get together, network and/or organize future events, etc.

As the Main Organizer, I offer every interested members the monthly venue to meet & eat, get to know one another better so we are all comfortable in tailoring specific or family activities for our very own diversified group, even accommodating adventure seekers with known and unknown disabilities. I look forward to have more spontaneous response from our active members who really WANT to make events and adventures happen by offering their time, connections to help to organize/co-organize!

2. $5/YEAR MEMBERSHIP EFFECTIVE APRIL 1, 2013.- When I took over, TCAS had about 200 members. There was a nominal membership fee of $5/year I did not enforce, and over a year membership more than doubled. However, participation does not reflect this accordingly. To streamline TCAS’s initial goal to gather like-minded passionate members who want to participate, contribute, organize and/or make events and adventures happen, I have decided to revert back to charging $5/year to eliminate dormant members. This will also help to pay for Meetup monthly dues and deposits for future events & adventures.

3. PROSPERITY TOSSING for LUNAR NEW YEAR - Coincidentally, this Saturday’s Meet & Eat falls on the last day of the 15day celebration of the Lunar New Year, Year of the Snake! I would like to take this opportunity to extend an invitation to ALL my TCAS members (especially to thank co-organizers AND welcome potential co-organizers) to a “Prosperity Tossing”, ie Tossing of Yu Sheng, a dish served during the festive period.

There is NO CHARGE IF YOU SHOW, but a $5 IF YOU REPLY YES BUT DO NOT SHOW. Past experiences showed that we always have some dropping in without replying, and also those who would confirm coming but nonchalantly not show without any notice. Guys, remember there is a lot of prep work that goes into organizing any event, so always be respectful and mindful with your timely response.

All TCAS members are invited - especially present and potential co-organizers as we should get together more often to plan a whole new kaleidoscope of activities for the entire year. There is ample parking for 12 cars on site, and lots more in vicinity and school across the street. I’m not looking for an overwhelming response but more than ready if you are adventurous enough to come join in the Prosperity Tossing for a Great Year Ahead!… hahaha.

I look forward to seeing all of you. Please RSVP by Friday, Feb 22, 7pm.

Hi Alan, sorry for the late reply... busy cooking already! Nothing over-challenging for an adventure-seeker - the link was provided in my original message. Lots more ethnic food like tim sum, tong yum, and some more familiar like fried noodles, potstickers etc. You can google to find out more. Fyi, food variety suitable for all ages. Probably the most adventurous is to maneuver your pair of chopsticks! You're most welcome to attend despite RSVP closed. There's more than enough food for everyone, just drop me a line for headcount. Hope to see you & co. Rgds, Audrey. Google Cell:[masked]

Borrowing the occasion; it's 2 in 1. There'll be enough food along with the Prosperity Tossing. You're welcome to bring a dish and your guest/s! Can you update with how many is coming? Tks!
