Soar Like an Eagle II

Have you ever imagined what it would be like to soar like an eagle? If so, here is a chance to "fly" a glider. Slip the surly bonds of earth and dance the skies on laughter-white wings as you and your commercially rated glider pilot experience flight without the aid of a motor. Take the controls and watch as the glider responds to your inputs; turns, glides and if weather conditions are favorable, experience thermalling like many birds do. For the more adventurous you can request to experience a wing-over or "0" gravity. For the even more adventurous you can schedule additional flights where you can don a parachute for some aerobatics. The gliders are extremely sturdy and are rated for aerobatic flight such as loops, rolls, spins etc. (+5.3/-2.65 G's) Due to limitations imposed by the glider manufacturer, participants must weigh less than 240lbs. The cost is $125 (Groupon and Living Social rate) that includes a briefing and introductory glider flight/instruction.
