Governing and automating AWS infrastructure is a top focus for organizations to meet service levels for internal and external customers. Come have a discussion about the best way to secure, audit and automate your AWS infrastructure.

During this session, you will learn:

Security considerations and options including key management, encryption and role-based security
How to plan for automation
AWS and other automation offerings
Application deployment options
Integrating AWS automation to a private cloud

We will discuss the latest in the capabilities of implementing these through an interactive discussion of best-practices, challenges and solutions. During this session we will discuss a live example of a that applies automation to ensure their performance levels are met.

Following our session, we will head over to Brit's Pub down the street for some appetizers and drinks.

This is the first time that I have attended this UG meeting but found the formal presentation to be useful and the informal discussions afterward as being very crucial to fostering deeper understanding of current usages of cloud environments.

There are 2 ramps on 12th between Marquette and 2nd Ave. There are also meters along 12th Street - 2 hour limit until 6:00PM. We are in the red brick building between Convention Center and Westminster Church.

Sorry, I really wanted to go because I'm pretty close to convinced that AWS is the future of my company but I'm buried in a project this week and just can't get out in the middle of the afternoon on Thursday. If anyone takes good notes I'd love a copy by email.
