This is a great opportunity for anyone wanting to do some trout fishing.

You can trout fish right here in Whitewater State Park! Join the DNR at the South Picnic Area for a fun time fishing. Rods, reels, and tackle will be provided at this activity designed to introduce trout fishing to inexperienced anglers, families and youth groups. Youngsters must be accompanied by an adult. Bring your own bait; worms often work best. Fishing licenses and trout stamps are not required when fishing during the activity.

This is not a "Meetup" as this is open to anyone, including children. But if anyone is interested in attending this even and possibly car pooling there (near Winona), then take it upon yourself to e-mail or otherwise contact others in the group. You can also put it out there on our message board.
