Do you know you need to change your diet but don't know where to start?
Whether you're a healthy chef or need to overhaul your diet, join us for endless new ideas! This group is designed for anybody who wants to share healthy recipes and add new ones to their recipe box! Please come with a healthy recipe to share, preferably one you have tried and liked. Any nutritional information you can offer about the recipe is a plus as well as any special diet it works for (gluten-free, vegan, etc). In an effort to be good to mother earth we will be compiling and posting shared recipes online so you need only bring 1 or 2 copies. You will be given the link to this month's recipe collection at each event. Feel free to attend even if you don't have a recipe to share.
We will have two meeting types/locations. At the Fitness Lounge in Blaine we will meet to recipe swap, share ideas and maybe even sample some of our healthy eats. Let us know if you'd like to bring a dish to share. We will also meet at different restaurants around the metro for a more informal Happy Hour style of meeting. We'd like to highlight some of the restaurants around town that are offering organic, local and clean menus and maybe even get some recipes from them! If you'd like to suggest your favorite healthy eating restaurant for a meetup let us know.
