Nintendo Multiplayer at YMB

I would like to get a nice group of people together to play some multiplayer Nintendo games.  I'd like to start this meetup with a focus on the various Mario Kart games.  Everyone is welcome to join in or group up to work on other games and franchises.

I encourage you to bring a 3DS for streetpassing and any other handhelds you want to play on.  If you feel like it, you can also bring your own controllers.(I will have enough of each type of controller on hand, but you may prefer your own and you may also want to use your Wii remote to upload your Mii to my system.)

It is free to play at this event.  You are encouraged to buy food and beverages as that is how Your Mom's Basement makes a lot of it's money.  They will be charging $5/hour to use their TV and the surrounding furniture.  I'll be covering this ahead of time and although I am not requiring it, I would appreciate it if others can pitch in.

Aside from this announcement, I'll also be putting a flyer up on the Your Mom's Basement bulletin board.  I'm hoping to make this into a recurring event that we can hold there about twice a month.

Had fun as always. The setup was not what I envisioned, but it still worked well.

I'll have to make it to the next event, can't make it tonight. I'm excited to streetpass though, my 3DS wants to meet you all! So do I of course... See you all soon hopefully!

I'm bringing my Wii U with some various Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros., and New Super Mario Bros. U games. I'm also bringing some extra copies of Mario Kart DS for any of you who started with Mario Kart 7 and want to know what the previous handheld game was like. I plan to take some promotional pictures of tonight's meetup so let me know if any of you would prefer not to be photographed. I'd still like to do a version of the Wii Summer Tour competition at a future meetup and I'll be looking for people who are interested in signing teams up. Finally, I plan to show off the ending of an important, but rarely played game.

I have quite a collection of Nintendo supplies that have been going to waste without a group of players to share them with. This meetup group has been a great opportunity to shake the dust off my extra controllers!

I'm going to try to swing by Your Mom's Basement and put up a flyer on their bulletin board. The more the merrier!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
