Summer Multiplayer Kickoff

At YMB like the other recent events. As usual, feel free to bring your own games, controllers, and handhelds. There will be plenty of streetpassing and I'll be bringing a Nintendo Wii this time. I'll be bringing Wii Sports and Wii Party among other games. One of the main games I'll be bringing is Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures. A lot of people haven't had a chance to play this game with four people because it required four GameBoy Advance systems and four link cables. Well, I'll be bringing all the necessary hardware and software. For those interested, this will be a great warmup for the Zelda game that will be released for 3DS later this year. I'll also have multiple copies of the orginal Four Swords along with Spirit Tracks and Phantom Hourglass for those who want to give their multiplayer modes a try. For those who want something more casual, don't worry. There will be plenty of room to just waggle the Wiimote as well.

I am wondering if any of you would be interested in YMB prize support for Nintendo events? Prizes could be food, games, etc. Thoughts?

I usually work until 6, but I'll try to make an appearance. Anyone have pink pieces for the Animal Crossing or Dillon's Rolling Western puzzles?

    May 28, 2013

    • Anthony K.

No pink pieces here, just most of the blue ones. Ill spend my coins for the rest.

Honestly, I only own one Nintendo Gamecube game... The 4-in-one Zelda games. (Legend of Zelda, Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and Legend of Zelda: Majora's mask). I also only have one controller :-(

Will I still be able to join and play along with others?

Yes. Although, in the case of Brawl, players will have to choose between playing it on the Wii U, which isn't compatible with GameCube controllers, or playing it on the Wii, which has a copy that doesn't have everything unlocked. I also bring my Super Mario, Metroid, Wii Sports, and Mario Kart games.

Your Mom's Basement has a TV and some of it's own systems and games. I bring my collection and hook it up to their TV. I also bring some extra handheld systems. Typically, some people play on my systems and others just bring their own handhelds and focus on streetpassing, Pokemon, and other multiplayer gaming with their systems.

Just a pointer. I may not be able to stay the whole time since I get up at 3am M-F. So I can stay as late as 7 or 8. If that's cool, then lets roll! :)
