Wii U Party

Nintendo's new console is out and it's time to give it a try. Nintendo has been promoting it's special brand of "asymmetrical gameplay". But to get that experience, you really need more than one player handy. So we're going to be getting together in a group to try out Nintendo Land and New Super Mario Bros. U. We're bringing the necessary hardware and enough controllers for five people. But feel free to bring anything you'd like to share.(Especially 3DS systems so we can get some streetpasses in!) We'll be in the 2nd floor board room at the Roseville Public Library.

Remember that everyone is welcome to bring their own controllers and games. As I said in the description, I'm especially encouraging bringing you 3DS so you can perform streetpasses and also upload your Mii onto my Nintendo Wii U!

In answer to Scott's RSVP, yes this will have to wait until January. The board room was booked pretty tightly for most of the month. And this gives me time to buy a new TV. Plus, a lot of people will have family obligations around the end of the month. I may still be able to schedule something for December, but it will be posted as a separate event if that's the case.

I wish I could have pulled off scheduling it for this month. But the library's board room is booked almost every evening. Plus I really need to get a new television. My current one is a bit on the heavy side and it's having an overscanning issue with the Wii U where the picture ends up being bigger than the screen. Nintendo support wasn't much help.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
