One must not miss visiting the zoo, as it is a welcome change from the concrete jungle. Its good place for wildlife photography enthusiast as you can photograph various species of birds, mammals and reptiles in a controlled environment.

The Nehru Zoological Park is a vast wildlife sanctuary, spread over an area of about 300 acres of land with about 1500 species of birds, animals and reptiles. Some of the popular species of animals in the zoo are the Indian Rhino, Asiatic Lions, Royal Bengal Tiger and White Tiger, Black Panther, Giraffes and Black Bears.

Shoaib, good to know that you reached Kashmir. I did some winter photography in USA. I lived in Syracuse, which is considered as a snow bowl of USA. Winter lasted almost six months every year and snow fr four to five months! I took the opportunity to click few great shots of trees without leaves. I look forward to see your winter pictures. Have fun and see you during our next meetup event.
