Hi all! I have a complete top rope setup to contribute, I would personally like to climb some 5.9-10a/b routes but I'm happy to set up a 5.7/8 if we want to have a variety of options. Probably arriving late Friday night, if anyone lives in the western suburbs and wants to leave around 5pm we can carpool!

I'm actually +3 rather than +2 which would put us at 31 people... at what point should we try to get an extra campsite? Looks like the closest available campsites are at a different park 15 minutes away by car.

We're less than 2 weeks away and I'm pumped. I thought it might be a good idea to take an informal survey of participants to see what's in store. If you care to, answer the following questions: (1) What type of climbing do you want to do: Trad/TR/Bouldering? (2) what grades are you looking to climb? (3) what gear do you have?

Does anyone have a guidebook (or are people familiar with the area) ? I'd like to try some of the routes listed as classics on mtn proj. I'm looking in particular at Thoroughfare (11a), Brinton's Crack (5.6), Upper Diagonal (5.9), and Congratulations (10a). Hopefully, someone will be interested in doing those, even if the rest of the group isn't.

So I'm kind of wondering how this is all working out. I would like to come along, but I don't know what I would need to show up with. I have a rope and enough gear to set up a top rope. Are there any fee's i would need to pay? Also, i don't have a car so could i possibly carpool? just wondering.

For those of you who are arriving on Friday, would one of you be willing to reserve another campsite now that we have 14 rsvps? You can split the fee with whoever will share the site with you. I tried to reserve one but WI-DNR won't allow me. They said the site needs to be reserved under someone else's name and I can pay for it. I don't have an issue paying for it if I can get one person to reserve under. I would need their personal info to make the reservation, have that person check in, and split the fee among those staying on that site. Let me know.

Anyone to carpool? I plan on leaving Friday after work (could leave as early as Noon, but open to whenever). Happy to ride or drive. I have a very comfortable half-ton crew cab truck we can take -- can bring all camping/climbing gear, even a couple bikes if you are so inclined. Returning whenever Sunday.
