Free Outdoor Clinics at Taylors Falls

I'm scheduling another free outdoor clinic to teach anchor setting, rappelling, trad leading etc. We can practice whatever the group wants. I am somewhat flexible as to the day and the time. I just put down 2PM to start the discussion. I will run it with a minimum of 4 and I'd like to limit it to 6 people. So please email me at [masked] if you are interested. The first 3-4 people to sign up will set the timing and the curriculum.  There is no charge to this. I have all the gear necessary except for harnesses and helmets; bring whatever gear you have. I would recommend you not attend unless you already know how to belay.

Great! I learned alot of great stuff. Probably one of the most important of all is the use of a munter hitch when top rappelling. Thanks to Richard for sharing all of the great information. Definitely look forward to another clinic!

I learned how to place gear more effectively and proficiently (through practice) and made new friends! And yes, I've already signed up for Richard's next clinic! :)

Hello Richard, I could use some actual instruction in setting anchors. My friends tend to just do it for me when I ask them to teach me.

I am relatively new to climbing (top rope only so far!) - but would love to learn how to set up anchors! I sent you an email as well, Richard.

I am also particularly interested in setting anchors. I have a rope, anchors, webbing and other materials. I have to come from hutchinson that day from a meeting and I should be there by 2:30pm.

Hi Richard, I sent you an email. I would be interested in taking this clinic from you. I need to freshen up my skills. I just don't know if I could make it up by two.
