Practice Trad Lead Climbing/Top Rope Anchor/Rappels

I'm scheduling another free outdoor clinic to teach anchor setting, rappelling, trad leading etc. We can practice whatever the group wants. I am somewhat flexible as to the time. I just put down 1:30 PM to start the discussion. I will run it with a minimum of 4 and I'd like to limit it to 6 people. When you RSVP, please tell me what you're interested in learning. You can also email me at [masked] with questions. Or call me: My cell is[masked] or text me at[masked]

The first 3-4 people to sign up will set the timing and the curriculum. There is no charge to this. I have all the gear necessary except for harnesses and helmets; bring whatever gear you have. I would recommend you not attend unless you already know how to belay.

Beside the items listed in the title, I would strongly suggest some discussion or notes on how to reduce risk of injury while climbing. This is my first time outdoor!

thanks a lot, Richard. It is a pity that i can not go for this trip, due to some change on schedule. Hope you all enjoy the trip!

We will be there to learn from you, Sensei Sletten. Or, if you're booked, we will climb nearby. Just to be nearer to you. Or heckle.

I don't want anything to do with top belay. Mostly there to observe and make sure what I learned last time sticks. (TR set up, anchoring and things of the like).

Yes, you stay off the top belay. That's for sure.
