Argentine Tango Lessons Starting Thursday, April 4th @ Four Seasons

You do not need to go to Buenos Aires to learn to dance Argentine tango!

Florencia Taccetti is a native of Buenos Aires and is regarded as one of the premiere teachers of Argentine tango.

She teaches Argentine Tango at Four Seasons Dance Studio on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

She currently is in Argentina, but she will be back in May.

Her Thursday class is usually a mixed level class, but in May she will teach Argentine Tango from the very beginning. It is a great time to start!

Pricing: $20 per class.
Full-time students and unemployed receive 50% off.

There is also a package price if you sign up for a series. (In the past, it has been $90 for six classes and $45 if you are a student or unemployed.)

I loved the class! My apolgies to all the leads - I have been dancing Argentine for a year but this was a different approach for me - I am used to a class where all the patterns are explained in detail and practiced over and over. I liked this approach - to improvise and work with your partner. No rules! It was nice to meet all of you. Mauricio is awesome - shame this was the only group class I will take from him!

Everyone did a great job today! Second, Mauricio will not be teaching group classes for the month of April. Tonight was his last group class. The next group class will be when Florencia comes back in May. A meetup event is created for that class. Please RSVP if you plan to attend. http://www.meetup.com/Twin-Cities-Salsa-Dancing/events/107685842/

It was really fun. I was running late so I wasn't around if you all did introductions. Too bad Mauricio is leaving soon, but I hope we can continue with Florencia in May.

Important Update: Florencia is still in Argentina, and she will not be back until May.

    Tango classes are still happening!

Mauricio Castro is a visiting instructor from Argentina. He has been teaching Florencia's classes since Florencia left.

He has written books and created videos about Argentine Tango.

Mauricio will continue to teach Florencia's classes till she is back in May.

He is a great instructor, especially to new students.

Classes will repeat till April 25th. Then Florencia will resume teaching. She will start Argentine Tango from the very beginning.

    Pricing: $20 per class.
Full-time students and unemployed receive 50% off.
    No package price is available.

By the way, parking meters in the area expire at 8 pm; Parking is free after 8pm. Although, it can be hard to find a meter spot sometimes. There is also a pay parking lot near the studio. I look forward to meeting everyone tonight! -Pawel
