Thanks. I think my top speed is just up to 14 maybe
And I found out last weekend on the slow ride that most folks couldn't stay under 14+ if they tried. I'd like to talk to you sometime about how I can organize a slightly slower ride as I think there are folks who would like to ride but not quite as intensely.
Thank you for your reply. There are lots of wonderful bike trails here that many more casual riders would love to try including me.

I'd vote for a slow ride, too. Please keep me informed. Thanks.

While you are on this ride, could you keep a look out for my stolen Specialized Ruby Elite? It's mostly white with blue accents. The handle bar tape is also now a kind of dark blue. It's a small bike 44c.
I don't know what you can do if you do see it, but it would sure be nice to know if it's still in the cities. The bike can't replaced and I really miss it. Don's Trek was also stolen. His is kind of silver gray and has a battery under the luggage rack.

so, where does the part II 9:00 a.m. 15 mile 20mph ride start? Address?
Cool idea to incorporate both rides for a variety and to involve more people. :-) Awesome. Wouldnt the earlier ride at 9:00 be part I though?
anyway, if you could email/text me directly, I would really appreciate it.

Dan, Both rides start from Mav's. Click on the link above it will bring up a google map. Yes, it might make more sense to have the early ride part one. But it is not really the main ride so that is why it is part two. Not fully sanctioned if you will. Just if you want to come early and ride fast and furious come out at 9... :o)

    Hi Renae
I don't ride a road bike so I'm not sure I can keep pace but I'd like to try this ride. Are there any other slow riders? Or riders with slow bikes? Is this 15 mile round trip?

Linda the 15 mile ride is a pretty much a sprint to Elm Creek and back.

Hi Linda! Long time since Croatia! You will definitely not be able to do the 9:00 ride and the 10:00 ride does have a average speed posted of 14-16 and you would need to be a regular rider to keep up. While these rides are listed as no drop, it is very difficult for the average regular rider with a road bike to go less than 12 mph average and can cause too much separation to the group. Of course, we can always post a slower mph ride on this site for anyone who wants to do it and organize themselves :)

Please be aware there is road constrution on 694, and last weekend on 252. So allow extra time for this.
