A September to remember! Last year I posted a daily ride in mid-September and I rode 17 consecutive days. Miles logged were 400+. This year, I'm aiming for the full month. 30 consecutive days, weather permitting. I will not ride in rain or snow or tornadoes. Stress is a given in our daily lives. Biking outdoors is a potent antidote to this stress. Riding in a group gives you a challenge to push yourself a little, get some miles in, and enjoy the company of others who love to ride. This is an opportunity to live in the moment and leave all your worries behind. It's not about the speed or the distance. It's about making a commitment to getting out, enjoying one of Minnesota's most beautiful months and letting go of whatever ails you. I would like this to be a series of rides that are challenging but not competitive. Pace and routes as the group decides but generally moderate, around 15 to 16 mph and distance of around 20 miles. We can meet up for social time after the rides at Luce, Chipotle or Mainstreet. I will be out there an any event but would love some company. Join me!

Update: apparently the details for the first ride in the series did not automatically change details on all the rides --my apologies. I think I have fixed it now. I noticed that there was no location listed for today's ride. Note: all rides start at the Depot Coffee House in Hopkins. This is because it is closest to my house and on days when I'm working it's the easiest location to get to by 6 pm. However, on weekend days when I'm not working I'm open to starting at a different location if riders want to make a suggestion. Leave a comment on the site and I will change the location if people agree to a change.
Also, there was a question about distance: generally rides will be around 20 miles. They could be a little longer or shorter if attendees want to make a change.
Also, it is getting dark earlier so please have a headlight on your bike.
