BACooN RIDE--The RIDE for the CURED

This is the inagural year for the BACooN RIDE.  It is A 71 mile ride along the Raccoon River in Iowa. It features bacon snacks, a bacon themed lunch and drinks specials at bacon party stops. And to make it an ultimate best--it starts with a bacon flavored donut. Sounds more like a party than a ride so don't miss out. Check out their web site www.bacoonride.com and register today. I am not organizing or leading this trip but just informing you of what sounds like a really fun ride.  Their web site doesn't say where in Waukee it starts or the exact time but with all the bacon perks, who needs details? As I find out this information I will update the event.

Update on BACoon ride. The 'ride' starts at 7 but there is no mass start. I plan on starting at 8. If you want to ride with me give me a call and we can decide on a rendevous point. Since my body will need time to digest all the bacon themed food that I will be injesting, I plan to ride slow (13-14). I'm staying in Clive, Iowa on Friday night. Call if you want more information. Hope to see you there.

The registration fee is $45 through May 1. After that time it increases by $10. How much bacon could you buy with that $10? I'm registered and I have a hotel room reserved. You only have one chance to be part of an inaugural ride and 2014 is it for the great BaCoon Ride.

There are already 1000+ riders registered for this event. It should be a great ride and one heck of a party.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
