Saturday ride from the Depot 3.0!

This is another great ride from Zee that starts at the depot and will go for about 50 miles, but since it’s a more of a urban ride, new riders or people who may have been intimidated by the distances from the previous ride can have a person “Sag” for them, find a ride or take the bus back if you've reached your distance limit. Lets start at 9am, getting too hot for May

We still expect to average of about 15 mph so keep that in mind as well and we'll make breaks along the way of course.

The depot lot is full. I'm parked at aquila school. You don't need to park here but try to be at the depot by 9.

    Minneapolis City of Lakes
St. Anthony Parkway Bridge closes to all traffic

The St. Anthony Parkway Bridge in northeast Minneapolis, which is due to be replaced next year, is now closed to traffic. Recent inspections resulted in a three-ton load limit being placed on the bridge. Since this restriction was put in into effect, several observations have indicated vehicles weighing more than three tons are still using the structure. Therefore, the City of Minneapolis has decided to close the bridge to all traffic until further notice.

The closure affects all motor vehicle, bicycle and pedestrian traffic. However, depending on the results of further analysis, the bridge may reopen to pedestrians and bicycles in the coming weeks.
